DMS 111 ANATOMY & STATES OF THE SONOGRAPHIC PATIENT

This course develops an understanding of the structure of the cardiovascular system. Emphasis is placed on cardiac structure.


DMS 112 INTRODUCTION TO SONOGRAPHY

This course will prepare the student for the challenging demands of Sonography training. Clinical policies and procedures are emphasized. An overview of basic terminology, techniques and equipment will form the framework for future studies.


DMS 113 INTRODUCTION TO CARDIOVASUCLAR PRICIPLES

This course will discuss cardiac physiology, mechanical events, left ventricle function indicators; basic EKG’s and heart sounds.


DMS 114 PATIENT CARE AND ETHICS

This course includes materials emphasizing personal adaptation skills, nursing procedures, ethics and skills to deliver better patient care.
